A transflective display is a type of screen that combines both transmissive and reflective technologies to provide visibility in a variety of lighting conditions. It works by using a reflective layer that bounces ambient light back through the display, which allows it to be readable even in bright sunlight. The transmissive part of the display lets light pass through, which is useful in low-light conditions (like indoors or at night).
